gScreen SpaceBook 17 options

We are looking at several configuration options for the SpaceBook 17.

We will launch with one specific configuration, then we'll offer more options 3-6 months after launch.

Here is a list of the launch options we are working on:

- Intel Core i7-740 QM

- 2 x LED 17.3 inch 1920 x 1080 (non-glossy)

Photo Shoot with Spacebook 15

We did a photo shoot recently with the Spacebook 15 and will release new hi-res pics to select media contacts in a few days.

We do not yet have release dates for the Spacebook to market.

Google To Release OS

Looks like Google is jumping in further with a more robust OS for Netbooks in 2010 and later for notebooks, (laptops), gScreen will be anxious to test Google OS on our gScreen Spacebook and see how it performs in the dual-screen environment, it could be a winner.

Google To Release OS Aimed at Netbooks

Google is developing an operating system designed primarily for lightweight Web-based tasks, the company announced on Tuesday in a blog post.

The company is primarily marketing the OS, called Google Chrome OS, for low-cost laptop computers, or netbooks. However, it also says the OS can work for desktop computers, as well.
